The only clarification I would make is: I uploaded and activated 2.2.6 through wordpress then unzipped and uploaded the *new pingpressfm folder (from 2.2.7) via ftp and overwrote all files that were in conflict...works like a charm now. It's actually not that technical. You can go here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pingpressfm/download/ and download the 2.2.6 version of the plugin. Make sure you have backed up the current version (2.2.7.) Unzip and then upload the old version onto your server. Then upload the 2.2.7 version right after that. Go to activate the plugin as usual and then start activating or creating new triggers. Seems like it works for people as a work around. If you need help, just say the word. OOOoops.
